I used Daz studio with the reality 2 plugin which allowed me to render in luxrender. Daz studio and luxrender are free downloads, but you need a plugin to allow your Daz image to be rendered in luxrender. There are a number of plugins but I find Reality 2 easier to use and it has good support. You can get Reality from Preta3d or Renderosity. I used Reality lights for this image. I think it was 2 mesh lights which tend to give softer lighting. The figure is all purchased content from various suppliers like Daz and Renderosity. Hope that helps.
